Coach Terri Johnson has rejoined the Langham Creek Lady Lobo Volleyball Staff as the Freshman B coach after taking a couple years off! Congratulations to Coach Powell who has been named the 2010 Freshman A coach!

Coach Todd is now a Varsity only coach again after doing double duty through the first half of the season!

Yipppppeeeeee!

Congratulations to Varsity on a fine finish last night! We lost to Alvin in 2 close games and definitely did not show up for the match, but turned it around by beating Huntsville 25-3, 25-8 and then took Cy Ranch in two, 25-18, 25-18.

This moved Langham into the Gold Bracket with our FIRST PLACE finish! Great job ladies - next match is at Cy-Woods Saturday morning at 9:30 AM!

Be at the school 8:30 AM, all teams are wearing black shirts and spandex!!!!

Langham Scrimmage Information - Saturday August 7

All players need to be at the school at 7:30 for help setting up the gyms! Freshman B will not be playing, but they will be working the concession stand and helping the Coaches out!

Friday August 6th Memorial Scrimmage Information and Saturday August 7th Langham Scrimmage Information is being sent out by e-mail! I do not know why I am having problems with the up load and sorry for the problems.

Everyone needs to be at school at 8:30 AM, buses are being loaded at 8:45, DO NOT BE LATE!!

Langham Creek Scrimmage Saturday

I will be posting scrimmage information later today, but I need some help with the Freshman B parent's for Saturday. Freshman B will not be playing in the scrimmage so I need parent volunteers to help the girls work the concession stand at the following times:

8:15-10:00 – will need to set up

10:00-11:30

11:30 – 1:00 – will need to close down

What a morning! The girls did amazing on conditioning and I mean AMAZING! We busted their poor little legs and then the Freshman did an outstanding job on the court! We are now updating the rest of the week's schedule since Coach Powell's bus driving class is going so well!!

This is a reminder that volleyball camp starts tomorrow! Doors will be open at 8:30 and once the camper has checked in, they may go into the gym for Open Gym from 8:30-9:00. The schedule for the camp is as follows:

4:15 - Doors Closed - everyone must be picked up!!

There will be a concession stand at the camp and will have items for breakfast, snacks and options for lunch!

Junior High / Freshman Camp Updates

Please stay connected to our Blog and Facebook page for information about the JH / Freshman camp that starts Monday, July 26th. As Bonnie approaches the Gulf of Mexico I will start looking at moving the camp to Tuesday July 27th and Wednesday July 28th.

As of right now, we are staying on original schedules!

Update 7/24 5:50 PM - CAMP IS ON! No Bonnie here!! We will be having the concession stand open from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Water, Gatorade, Powerade Zero, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Diet Coke, Bagels, Muffins, Chips, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Snacks, Crackers, Cookies, and even Candy Bars and Pizza will be offered. Bagels, Muffins and Fresh Fruit available for breakfast and we will take Pizza orders at check in - $1.50 a slice. I will send out a detailed list of concession stand prices so you can try to have exact change! There will also be some Lobo Gear available to purchase. Please come in with your daughter, stay for introductions and get to know the Langham Creek Volleyball Coaching Staff and helpers! We are ready to go!

Update 7/23 8:31 PM - Camp will go on AND we will have our concession stand open during the camp. Drinks, snacks, muffins (breakfast), fruit and Pizza will be offered at lunch!! I will send out more details tomorrow night about what will exactly be offered!

Update 7/23 7:35 AM - Bonnie does not look like it is going to effect Houston (YIPEE!) - as of right now, nothing is changing! If you have a friend, invite them to register at the door, I ordered extra shirts and they are cuteeeeee!

Message from Coach Todd, Staggs and Powell:
Welcome back class of 2011, 2012, 2013 and hello class of 2014! This is going to be a great season and we are ready to start camp on July 26th with evaluations starting bright and early on August 2nd. If you have any questions that are general, please post them either on the Facebook Page (Langham Creek Lady Lobo Volleyball) or on the blog. The blog will be updated with important information on upcoming events for each week as well as a place to celebrate the seasons accomplishments. I am asking for some parent's from each team to please do some write ups after each match and e-mail it to me at carey.todd@cfisd.net to make sure accurate information get's posted about matches and great accomplishments from our players.
